Welcome to LawStudentCafe.com, a site for law students and the people who want to employ them, as well as those thinking about pursuing a career in the law.   There are approximately 140,000 law students in the United States, studying at just under 200 law schools.  More than 90,000 people apply to join them each year.  There are about 950,000 lawyers at work in the country, and many of them need help. This is the site where we hope all three groups come together.

The primary audience, though, are the students themselves and so we have set up the site to serve up first the information they need on the profession they have chosen, including their general employment prospects as well as the latest news on the various Bar Exams across the country.

But we have also included a news feed of the information about admissions that prospective law students will want, and we have made it very easy for employers to list their openings --by state-- in the employment section.  Please tell your friends and every lawyer you know as well as non-lawyers who might be in the hunt for the sharp young law school grad.
